Are you ready? Do you know what you’re going to do? Do you have it all planned out?

2017 is here. What are your goals? What are you going to do with the entire year?
What’s your 365 day plan?

Everywhere I look people are telling me how to set goals and make the most of the New Year. And I get it, we all universally agree that 2016 was a giant booger on the face of humanity and the best way to forget about it is to move on and do all the things we’ve wanted to do.

The problem is all the voices pandering the fast food equivalent of how to reach your goals. They’re quick, simple and easy but don’t get you where you want to go and you usually end up regretting it.

Accomplishing your goals isn’t done by accident or magic. It is the most intentional thing you’ll ever do. What have you always wanted to do? Where have you always wanted to go? When you close your eyes and say, “I really wish I was…” what do you see? Are you at the job you actually like, are you with someone you actually want to be with or are you walking the streets of that place you’ve only seen pictures of?  See, the truth is, no matter the goal- someone else is there right now. Someone’s walking your streets, someone’s living your dream job, someone is where you’ve always wanted to be. The question is, why isn’t it you? Don’t let another year go by and you’re still looking at pictures that you’re not in. Don’t let the days turn into weeks, and weeks into months and months into regret. Let this be the year you reach your goals.

But before you run out the door… I should let you know, goals come with a price.

p class=”p1″>To reach your goals you’ve got to do more than you’re doing now.
To reach your goals you’ve got to think differently than you think now.
Every goal has a price and many people, when it comes time to pay, are not willing to do what it takes.

In Neslandia, we believe in doing things, big things. We’re not independently wealthy or working 65 hours a week. We just believe that the right priorities kick the door open for your goals. We say no to say yes, we don’t collect stuff – we collect memories, and we value priorities over possessions.

Bottom line, we have big goals, we usually reach them and I’d love to show you how.

Here are the 4 steps we employ when setting our goals.

How To Reach Your Goals

  1. Identify Your Goals
  2. Prioritize Your Goals
  3. Reverse Engineer Your Goals
  4. Execute Your Goals

Over the next few days I’ll release separate posts diving into each Step. It’s going to be an inside look into how we do what we do. It’s no secret sauce but it works for us.

It’s 2017 and we can reach our goals, together.
